Hi All!

happy to have found a forum where nursey types hang out. I am into week 3 of Cert 3 in Aged Care, though I was very excited to be studying again and learning new things, I had put to the back of my mind my medical condition. Anyways, been going through the many workbooks (I have 13 of them) on different subjects, just having a casual read before the weekly classes start...

And I got to thinking, if I have a Grand Mal, will I hurt or injure my patient? Yes, I have Epilepsy, though I've not had any seizures for the past couple of years, except for the tiny milliseconds i just blank out when i'm tired, but i guess everyone has that when they're tired!

I am very worried I cannot finish this course as I do enjoy caring for the elderly, and this is the only way (for me) to do it as it is a government paid training course within a nursing home.
