I finished my cert 111 in aged care last november, and I'm hoping I have remembered everything I was taught, as I just got a job, I will be working in the community taking ladies shopping, cleaning their homes, some general cooking, that's what she said on phone, I'm not sure of the rest till I see the office tomorrow, Uniting Care, on what else I will be doing. I'm new to this, and i have only done the study part not hands on except for work placement done at a residential care nursing home. So nervous. Can anyone explain their roll, on what you have to do, have phones, etc and if you are a casual like I will be, can you start at certain times of the day, i would like to get my kids organised for school first if that's possible.
