To make your forum posts as visually interesting and readable as possible, I would suggest using some of the formatting features available.

For Gold Key Holders, this is easy as you are presented with a toolbar, and paragraph breaks work automatically.

For Silver Members, you can still get similar results but need to add a bit of xml formatting.

To get bold text, you need to format your text like this:

<b>text you want bold</b>

For italic text, you need to format your text like this:

<i>text you want italicised</i>

To get the forum post to remember your paragraph break or when you hit the Enter Key, you just need

to put a p inside the < > at the start of the paragraph and a /p inside the < > at the end of the paragraph.

Of course you can always consider upgrading to a Gold Key Holder as well
