Hello everyone,

I'm hoping I can obtain some assistance in locating hospitals in Melbourne (preferably the Eastern & Outer Eastern 'burbs), that offer traineeships in Div2 Nursing.

I recently sat for the exam & info night at Croydon TAFE but have not been accepted into their 1st & 2nd rounds. Their 3rd round takes place in January but in the mean time I am wanting to find out about traineeships & what hospitals offer this.

Can anyone help me with this?

I'm a mature age female & know that this is something I just need to do as its come up continually throughout my life.

If anyone can advise me of where I can apply or even make enquiries, I would be ever so grateful.

Hello Merryn

Call Apprenticeships Plus. I did my traineeship through them and there were a few mature age ladies and men in my class. We did our theory at ACU and got placed in a nursing home, allyou had to do was 15 hours a week. Hope this helps!!
