I have been successful in gaining a placement for the Jan. 2011 intake for this course and I was wondering if anyone else has already studied there. How did you find the course, etc.,? The information session was really good and it seems the graduating EN's are in high demand throughout the local area. So looking forward to beginning this course. I am an older student and this will be a total career change for me and one I am very much looking forward to experiencing.

Hi Lee,

My husband Travis just got accepted into Kings college for Jan 2011 intake. He'll be an older student too (28) and we also have another male friend who'll be starting kings college he'll study in class (he's in his 40's). Travis will be doing the "blended learning". Travis has told me some of his friends from work have studied there and they said the course was great and the school has a really good reputation. But ive also heard of alot of people dropping out of the course because it can be hard to balance the demands of study and work and placements. But I think if your determined and remind yourself its only 18 months you'll get through it.

Thats great news Sarah. I am also in my 40's and I have a daughter who has also been accepted into the course for the Jan. 2011 intake. I wont be working so I am hoping that I can complete the course without too much drama timewise. I have 2 teens at home and a husband that works away 2wks and then home for 1wk. Im not too worried about juggling things but I have heard the course in pretty demanding so I imagine a lot of study will need to be completed both at College and at home to get through. Im pretty excited though. Its a comlete career change for me and one I look forward to. I guess I may meet Travis and your friend next year although Im not sure how many classes they have. Cheers Lee
