Im at early stages of applying for my diploma in nursing ( I have a maths and English test tomorrow ) I am hoping to move back to the UK and wonder if my diploma would be recognised or would I only be able to work as a basic health care assistant?
You need to register with the Nursing and Midwifery Council - it looks like you'd need to have been a practicing nurse for at least a year after your diploma. The process looks quite involved - you'd have to take an additional Overseas Nursing Programme as well. Check out the NMC site for the details. Good luck!
