sheree,
i just finished my EN course this week. based on my own expereince id suggested you dont go out and buy all those books before your course starts. once we were actually in class our various teachers advised us which books we really needed and which ones wouldnt- some you can just borrow from the library bcos you will barely use them.

i only ended up buying 2 books this year, the fundamentals of nursing (potter &perry), and Lewis' medical and surgical nursing (brown and edwards). and to be honest, Lewis was the best buy i made!! fabulous book for both exam study and assignments- im going on to do RN next year (hopefully if i get in) so im hanging on to my books, but if i was you id buy Lewis and hang off on everything else for the time being.

enjoy your course- i loved it.
jules.
