Hey guys

I am really interested in learning about operating theatres, the role of a div 2 in it etc

Does anyone know of a course for Div 2's in Melbourne about this? Or any other subjects?

I have done the Acute care ANF course already

Thanks, Koby

Hi Koby

I don't think that there are any specific post grad div 2 perioperative courses, but I have seen ads in the recent past from hospitals such as Epworth for div 2 nurses to work in this area - no experience necessary and full training. These ads were in Seek and I saw them at different times over a period of time.

Cheers,

Lauz

Hi Kobeh
Have you tried the ANF where you did your acute course, they used to have perioperative courses which I did about 5-6 years ago.

Hi Koby,

I am not sure where abouts in Melbourne you are located but maybe this will help you......

go to http://www.kangan.edu.au/courses/course-info/index.php?fldCourseID=1383

If that link doesnt work then look up Kangan Batman Tafe through google and find out that way. They do a post registration module in perioperatice nursing. I am thinking of doing the maternity nursing one. Have a look and email them and find out about it.

Good luck

Lisa
