Hi

everyone Iam Sarah,Iam a newbie and I have a question I am starting to study Enrolled nursing here in melbourne.

I would love to know first of all if anyone knows if I can fast track the enrolled nurses course in Melbourne, secondly

I have applied for the  nursing degree with CUD which is online course but if they except me can I may be do some

units with them at the same time while doing the enrolled nursing course. Its just that first I wanted to go with the 3 year degree now I want to work while studying and that is why I want to do enrolled nursing all over sudden. I would appreciate your suggestion thank you.

Hi Sarah,

Not sure about your first question.

The problem with doing both courses at once is that generally a person with an enrolled nurse diploma will get credit for 1/3 of the degree.  So you would be better off either completing the diploma and then applying to do the degree, or going straight into the degree.  Otherwise you will end up studying and paying for subjects that you would get credit for once you have finished the diploma.  The degree would take two years if you already have the diploma.  Hope that makes sense!
