I have decided to start the diploma of nursing for next year. I am undecided where to study. I live in Melbourne and am thinking to study part time over 2 years. My dilemma is that I need to continue working casually so I was thinking rather than doing 2 days a week(I was considering Australian catholic uni or health skills Australia to study), I would enrol in gcit diploma of nursing. My only thing is that I don't know how good the online study is and whether I would benefit learning this way or on campus. How would I learn hands on nursing skills by studying online and only doing some residential schools. This is the only thing that bothers me to study off campus. Also has anyone got a job in nursing after finishing the Gcit diploma of nursing who lives in Melbourne. Obviously after my 2 years of study I want to be employed.

HI l am in the same boat as you ... l am still waiting for a reply about which is the best place to study on this site...if l get an answer l will let you know. I have been leaning towards health skills but have read some bad reviews of late.

Thanks Ros
