new policy took effect since july 1 2010, federal registration for div 2 nurse

language reqirement, secondary education not finished in australia, needs to sit and IELTS test , no exemption if your highschool is done in the UK USA or NZ

secondly, must have diploma of nursing for registration

I'm actually doing Cert IV in nursing at the moment. Does this mean its not going to be eligible for registration?

i heard tht, the div2 registrant must study upto diploma level, dont know if tht s true? better of confirm with the federal nursing board

hope it is rumor

english test is already confirmed, my classmate sitting next to me, her family lived in australia for over 100 years, when she was young, her family moved oversea and do her secondary education oversea, now back for nursing couse, no exemption for australian citizen even she did her highschool in NZ

if they need diploma level for registration, thts means we can not have registration under the new policy, so we have to confirm it

my course in VIC is gov subsidized, if i can not get registration, tht means it wastes alot of gov funds which belongs to the taxpayer

dear labour party, i love you so much ;-(

also be aware tht, for example, vic registration last year might take 4 weeks and now under the new policy, it will takes you 3-4 months for the preocess, a long period for waiting the registration and stay out of work ;-(

I wonder why some places are still offering Cert IV, if it is not eligible for registration. I'm doing Cert IV now and wondering which extra modules and how much it will cost to upgrade to diploma. It's a shame we were not told about this before doing the course. Mine is also gov funded, so it it is expensive to do the rest to make it up to diploma, I'd like to know how much it will cost.

well i think we better of confirm it with federal nursing board. if only diploma level is eligible, we have to study up to diploma level, i asked my clinical teacher, certifcate+med endorse+IV UNIT=diploma , so if we go for IV unit, we can get diploma, i must put a ? coz m not quite sure now

also another issue, if we want to do IV unit, we must have div2 registration and med endorsement, how can we apply for IV unit without registration?

so have to confirm it witht them
