Hello!

i am in my final year of my bachelor at vic uni. I am looking to move to Canberra in 2015 as my partner has landed an incredible job. Will any Canberra hospitals take me on as a grad with a Victorian degree?

Thanks!

HI,

I am in my grad year this year, so spent a harrowing few months applying for positions last year.

Overall I applied for 32 grad positions, in every state and territory in Australia.

I studied at UniSA, externally, in South Australia.

I got offered 5 positions (SA, WA, NSW, NT, VIC, ACT - all public. Missed out on QLD and TAS public, didn't get into any of the private hospitals!).

Probably one of the hardest places to get work is VIC,unless you already live there... But it can be done.

I had already started my applications at this time last year.

If possible find out the clinical educators name, email them, ring them... Show your enthusiastic, not just because your boyfriend is moving, but because you think their hospital is the right fit for you.

Good Luck
