Do you think there is any advantage in being an experienced EN in terms of being offered a graduate program?

All the ENs who I know that convert to RNs have either in a new graduate program or got a permanent position before they graduate. They have more relevant experiences and more contacts.
*Note: New grads programs are only for 1 year and you will have to look for a new job if the hospital does not offer you a perm position in NSW.
