Hi,

i am currently doing the introduction to nursing course and I wanted your advice to which diploma I go with.or with institution I go with.

gold coast tafe are offering online course

caboolture tafe is offering online part time as well as full time on campus

careers Australia is offering full time 18 mths

i have children and I don't think I am disciplined enough to study at home with the online course. Would be nice and cheap for me I wouldn't have to pay for daycare but I also wouldn't be able to study with kids at home.

Hi There,

It's a really hard decision, isn't it?

I actually started my Diploma through Careers Australia as a Full time student, but I've since transferred over to Gold Coast Tafe (Distance).... both have their positives & negatives but I'm finding GCIT a much better fit for me. I'm able to study any time that suits me now & saving a bucket load on Daycare.... I also work and have 4 children to work around, so flexibility is a big plus for me!

Best of Luck :)

I was in the same situation! I choose to drive a hour away each day to the tafe to do my nursing course instead of doing it online as my disapline is not that great being a mother of 2 youngsters :) Goodluck with your decision! But I say campus studying is so much more better more support etc.
