I'm in a quandary as to whether to do the Bachelor of Nursing or do the Diploma of Nursing. My problem is that i'm unsure of the workload that it comprsises and its length being 3yrs. With the Diploma it only goes for 18mths of which i'm a little unsure of its workload either. However expecting my Wife to support both myself and two kids with the prospect of only being able to supply very limited amounts of monetary support for 3yrs is really alot to ask. What i really want to know is, is it possible to do part time work whilst doing the degree or is the workload such that it just isn't possible. 18mths we can manage but unless i can do some part time work 3yrs is just too long.

Hi there!

I suggest doing diploma and working part time. U can always do a Div 1 conversion course after you have comepleted div 2 and u can work as an EEN part time and study part time bachelor. ( div 2 take 1 year off study at most uni's )

Goodluck :)
