Hi there,

Does anyone know if qualifications gained in Qld are transferable to Tasmania? Wanting to study Aged Care here in Qld but hopefully relocation to Tasmania this year sometime. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks Renee :)

My understanding is, if you have received a Cert III  which has the accredited VETAB insignia on it, then you have a Nationally recognised qualification, Australia wide. eg if you completed CHC30208 or similar and has a little upside-down triangle with the words 'National Recognised Training', the chances are it will be rocognised.

oh, the may be a little obstical if the new emloyer needs you to have completed a Medication module which may not have been included in your Cert III training.  Variations of the Cert III Aged Care/Community Care have the module, some don't.

Good luck.
