Hi guys,

I am an aged care assistant who has been working in a nursing home for 8 months and I wanna make a complain form my employer about financial issues. I had a a casual job before but they change my situation to a part time job and gave my only 6 hours permanent shift weekly plus few days casually , then most of my shifts are casual but because I have 6 hours permanent job , my payment has been calculating casually, In new situation I made less money and my employer does not want to change my situation.
Could you please tell me what is the centre where I can make a official complain about my situation? I mean, how can I make my employer to stop this way? Is there any office, official centre where I can make a complain about an Aged care facility or nursing home as a employee.

Best to call work fair and see what their advise is.

Thanks alot for your advice, I am wondering why there is not an office ,centre or something like that for a complaint, I mean what is the center or ministry which support health care workers? Is anybody know which center or office can help me practically?

I think Chemistry meant Fair Work Australia http://www.fairwork.gov.au/complaints/how-to-make-a-complaint/pages/default

It's always best to follow your employer's grievance policy first, but failing that the Fair Work Ombudsman may assist if there is a breach to an award.
