Hi everyone I have a few questions about the Dip of Enrolled nursing

Can you study full time at night? If so how many nights is it and from what times (start to finish)

How many nights a week is the part time course? Is it during the day or at night? Again what times please?

Can you get back in to the course if you leave e.g to have a baby without doing a test again?

When are the placements on the full time and part time course they at the end, start or middle?

How long is the course part time?

Thanks in advance!

Not sure if still relevant to you but...

I'm about to finish my last semester at Tafe Gilles Plains as a full time student, so any reply will be from this perspective.

As full time I have never done any study on campus at night. Everything is done between the hours of 9-3, occasionally to 4pm.

From what I hear you have either a year or two to return to study without doing any testing again, they just keep everything on file until you return or the time limit expires.

My first placement was at the end of April 2014 to the start of May 2014 (this was a 2 week primary health care placement. I've just finished my second placement which started in mid November and ended the previous week (this was a three week placement in aged care). From this you can gather placements are generally at the end of the semester.

For a full time student it takes 18 months to finish this course. I think it takes 2 years part time.
