How unfair is it that TAFE courses for enrolled nursing are not eligible for the Centrelink start up scholarship which is paid to uni students to help pay for text books? At nearly $1100 a sememster, that would have been a huge help towards the pile of books I have to buy for the Diploma in Nursing. I think it stinks! Doesn't the govt want more nurses?? The course cost ($15000) is more than the uni course as it is... that's my whinge of the day..
