I say go for it. I was a carer (AIN, ECA - depending what state I'm in )for 18 years before attempting my certificate IV in nursing. Im nearly 40 and I'm now an endorsed enrolled nurse and loving it. Can't say it wasnt without some struggles, but they were worth it.

Hi,

I am also a PCA, and I am going to the information night tomorrow, for EN I have always wanted to do it, I am scared that I am not going to be able to even get accepted. My english is great, but I am not so good at maths, I am hoping that somehow I am able, as for years I have been putting it off. I am prepared to work my ass off, but just not sure about the VETASSESS test...

but best of luck to you janine33....
