I'm at CDU (won't be saying what year etc as I fear backlash) and have just noticed that the updated degree that we have been encouraged to change over too doesn't have a remote nursing specialist elective. This is Charles Darwin Uni!!!! They have also removed the tropical medicine elective too as well as many others. Options are now very very limited indeed.

Definitely needs to be raised with your local MP and/or federal MP for Darwin and Capricornia. Cause a ruckus!!!!

Take a look at the description for NUR349, it is replacing NUR350 and from the description, will now be a specific 4 week rural/remote prac. So whilst they are removing the theory elective, they do have a specific prac in 3rd year.
