Hi all,
I'm looking into applying to do the Dip Nursing course through SA TAFE via distance education. I realise I would need to attend 3 x 1 week residential workshops during the course, and that I would also need to do 1 x 4 week aged care clinical placement and 1 x 6 week acute clinical placement. I'm just wondering at what stage in the course do the clinical placements arise? I'm looking at the July 2010 intake, and I will be applying to do the course part time (over 3 years), although I hope to have it finished sooner. I'm trying to plan when I might need to take the time off work to do the placements.
I'd also love to hear from anyone who has done the course through SA TAFE - what did you think of it? Is there anything I should be aware of?
