Hi guys RC here,

Since my math is so crappy and most probably will have trouble with calculations etc, I bought a book called Practical Nursing Calculations(ordered it on-line) When I get it i will let you know how I go. It looks like all pretty basic math, but when it comes to fractions decimals converting things etc, I just go OH CRAP. Won't be doing medications until probably next year, so i got to start practicing

Bye RC

haha yes, i hate the maths as well. Wait till you get to doing IV drugs which require fiddly calculations! Peds is even more complicated coz you have to have a very precise dose and its measured according to weight unlike adults. But then again with paeds, you have to have 2 RNs there to even give out panadol apparently, coz of the bigger risk of side effects etc.
