Hi my name is Danielle.
I am 26 years old. I have just completed an enabling program through CQ University called WIST - (Women Into Science and Technology). It has taken me about 6 months to complete on a very part-time basis. Completing the WIST program has given me the oppertunity of Direct Entry into CQUniversity.
I'm not sure what it is like with QTAC but with Direct Entry with CQ University I can basically put the application in to the University and the offer comes directly from them. I posted my application into the University about a week ago. I'm not expecting to hear anything from them probably for another few weeks.
I am so excited about starting my Nursing degree in March of next year. Nursing is something I have wanted to do for such a long time now. There are so many possibilities and options available to an RN. I have been volunteering my time at a hospital in Bundaberg where I have been helping to put together the Graduate Nurse Transition Packs for the 2010 intake. I mean this is the step after Uni that I am talking about.....but the content of these packs and the skills that I am going to learn over the next few years at Uni is just so interesting and exciting. To me this all just makes me want to do the degree even more.
When do you get your offer letter??
What are you doing leading up to the start of Semester/Term 1??
Are you excited about O-Week??
Do you have a huge textbook list?? What other equipment do you need to purchase??
