what services, advice and assistance might you give to a 58 year old client who recently gave up smoking but is concerned about their general health? what suggestions would you make to assist them in maintaining a healthy body and how would the suggestions you make impact on various systems of the body?

tell the client how proud you are of her accomplishment, let her know of all the benefits she will encounter now that she has stopped.  Provide support for her if she has any issues with withdrawal symptoms let her know she is able to talk to you about these issues.  Try and find out what her general health concerns are and if she is experiencing any symptoms.  A visit from her g.p. will put her mind at ease.  Breathing relaxation techniques will benefit to relax her in times of stess.  Demonstrate this action.   Make her aware that drinking alot of water will be of benefit to her system.
