hie guys.was wondering if there is any one who would know the things that one is required if going for home care (aged care) interview.i have no experience in the field and am juss about to start my cert 3 aged care course next month.but have to go for this interview next week.nthing would help me a lot.thanks guys

Hi, pretty much they will want to know you are keen, willing to obtain a certificate, which you are, healthy, (might ask for a medical), have basic knowledge around the areas of oh&s, adls,(activities of daily living), first aid, They usually would ask questions around the area of what you would do in emergencies, and/or privacy issues ect. You will find this is really just common sense, so nothing to worry about. Obviously are looking for people with empathy for older people, and with police check and drivers licence, so you can take people out. Hope this helps!
