hi all , i have just started aged care cert 111 course online , and body else out there that is doin this course and want to be a study buddy, 

im stuck on the second question :'(

Hi all,

I did my Cert 3 in aged care and HACC and have since got my div 1 back, I have done my placement as a pca, worked in one nursing home as a pca and then back to a div 1, and started at another nursing home as a div 1.

I have had experience on both sides and did pretty good in all my assessments, I have had exposure to dementia, secure care, also I still have my notes.

Im here if you need practical advice as well, which might be helpful before you go on your placements.

im currently doing my cert 111 in aged and disability care and am finding it very hard im suck on all my assignments and am looking at failing someone any one with some sort of help would be very much excepted

Hi everyone I am new to this so forgive me.

I too am starting certificate 111 in aged care soon.   I am 60 years old.  My mother died of dementia last year and I saw first hand how important these workers are to our elders.  I am very concerned with the medical terminology.  I am so stressed out that I wont be able to remember all the long words.  My memory is not as good as it was 40 years ago.  The more i try to study them the more confused im getting.  Not knowing what to expect from the course is a bit daunting.   I feel that i might make a fool of myself.  I want to succeed so badly. Actually the stress is starting to disrupt my family life.  Im thinking if I dont pass the medical terminology i will not pass at all.
