I am currently 1/2 way through my 2nd year of a bachelor of nursing (Div 1).

I have heard through other nurses that at the end of my 2nd yearI can apply to work as a Div 2? If this is so - will I be required to do the medications course or am I already qualified as I have done this in my study at uni over the semester?
Can someone please tell me if this is correct how would I go about applying and do I register through NBV as a div 2?

Yes, in Victoria you can work as a division 2 once you have finished 2nd year and have done a workshop.
This workshop was offered by my uni to all 2nd years towards the end of the year. You can also do the workshop through the ANF. My registration took until mid January to come through and then I was able to work as a Div 2 (but not medication endorsed). Hope this helps.
